The tool can be used on sites of all sizes, and a test can be taken in a ground-breaking time of around 12 minutes. This compares with the usual alternatives, which can take around 10 days for a chemical test. The project was set up to develop the prototype into a viable commercial form, including increasing the robustness and making it more user friendly.
